Signature Dish, a captivating television series airing on WETA PBS, is set to uncover the culinary gems of the region’s finest dining establishments. This upcoming Monday, March 11th, the spotlight will shine on two distinct culinary hotspots: Rockville’s Fire Pit Brazilian Barbecue food truck and Wheaton’s Kantuta’s Restaurant Bar and Grill.
Fire Pit first fired up its food truck at 804 Rockville Pike within the Golden Arcade shopping center back in October 2022. Their flavorful offerings have quickly gained acclaim, prompting the family behind the venture to announce plans for a second location at the soon-to-open Solaire Social Food Hall in Silver Spring, all within less than a year of their initial launch.
Meanwhile, Kantuta’s Restaurant Bar and Grill, nestled at 2400 University Blvd W, tantalizes taste buds with its authentic Bolivian cuisine. From the savory delights of salteñas to the hearty trancapecho and succulent carne asada, Kantuta’s promises a culinary journey like no other.
