Umi Hot Pot, Sushi & Seafood Buffet would be taking over the space at 1471 Rockville Pike in Rockville, previously occupied by Miller’s Ale House, Hooters, and Shakey’s. Today, Umi has announced via social media that it will officially open its doors—Friday, August 9th.
Due to some conflicting dates in the social media posts, which mentioned both August 9th and August 10th, we reached out to the restaurant earlier this afternoon for clarification. A representative confirmed that Umi will indeed be opening today, Friday, August 9th, at 4 PM.
