Various MoCo Restaurants Included in Eater DC’s List of Most Anticipated Fall Restaurant Openings

Several MoCo restaurants anticipating fall openings have earned a spot on Eater DC’s ‘Most Anticipated Fall Restaurant Openings’ list. Here are the upcoming Montgomery County restaurants featured:

  1. Aventino Cucina and AP Pizza Shop (Bethesda): Scheduled to open in Downtown Bethesda in November, this concept by Chef Mike Friedman, Colin McDonough, Gareth Croke, and Mike O’Malley promises vibrant Roman cuisine and Jersey-style, deck-oven pizzas. Additional information is available.
  2. The Grove (Potomac): Augie’s Mussel House and Beer Garden in Cabin John Village is transforming into The Grove. The restaurant, led by chef Jose Lopez-Picazo, aspires to Michelin-star recognition. Additional information can be found here.

The Heights Food Hall (Chevy Chase): Located on the 5400 block of Wisconsin Ave in the space formerly occupied by Anthropologie and PF Chang’s, The Heights Food Hall will feature Urbano (full-service restaurant), The Heights Bar (full-service bar), The Turncoat (speakeasy), and eight local food stalls.   4. Ala Bethesda: From the owners of ala in Dupont Circle, Ala Bethesda is set to open at 4948 Fairmont Ave in the former Positano restaurant space. Featuring flavors from the Levant region, Ala Bethesda will offer a similar menu to its Dupont location with a patio and rooftop. The opening is expected this fall.
