For more than five years, Windridge Vineyards (15700 Darnestown Rd.) has earned a reputation for its stunning views and serene atmosphere, making it a beloved destination for the local community. Beginning January 15th, when the winery reopens following its Winter Break, Windridge will introduce a 21+ service model, signaling a fresh direction in its guest experience.
The winery shared the following message with its customers:
“After thoughtful consideration, beginning March 1, 2025, Windridge Vineyards will be limited to adult guests (21+) in public areas. Guests of all ages will continue to be welcomed at private events.
We have been honored to have shared special family moments with our guests.
Since our winery opening we have attempted to balance the expectations of guests with children with the relaxed experience that many of our adult guests desire. We have come to understand that the environment described in our mission is an adult experience.
Adopting an adult 21+ service model will enable us to deliver a more focused, personalized customer experience and we are excited to share these enhancements with you in the months ahead. I encourage you to keep an eye out for updates in our upcoming members newsletters.”
