Z-Burger Expands in Montgomery County with Bethesda Location: Following the successful opening of its first Montgomery County branch in Olney approximately two months ago, Z-Burger has now opened its second location at 4827 Fairmont Ave in Bethesda. This spot was formerly occupied by BGR from 2008 to 2022.
Z-Burger, a local DMV-based chain, is recognized as a “Washington DC landmark,” offering handcrafted burgers with a variety of toppings, fresh-cut fries, and an extensive selection of hand-spun milkshakes and concretes made with premium Wisconsin custard.
With multiple locations in DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland, Z-Burger continues to expand its footprint. The first location opened in Tenleytown in 2008, and the recent openings in Montgomery County signal the brand’s commitment to reaching a broader audience.
Founder Peter Tabibian, who previously served as the general manager at a Jerry’s Subs & Pizza in Maryland, established Z-Burger in 2008. The Bethesda location, as reported by Robert Dyer, is set to have extended hours, operating until 4 am on Friday and Saturday nights and until 10 pm Sunday through Thursday. This move reflects Z-Burger’s dedication to providing late-night dining options for its patrons.
