In March 2022, The MoCo Show reported that Eleana James would be making its debut at 8551 Connecticut Ave in the Chevy Chase Lake neighborhood.
According to the Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS), the restaurant is set to undergo its liquor license hearing on Thursday, June 6.
Eleana James, spearheaded by the creators of DC’s esteemed New American restaurant Nina May, Colin McClimans, and Danilo Simic, will introduce a fresh, all-day dining concept featuring dishes crafted from seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Highlighted menu offerings, as listed on its website, encompass a range of delectable options such as Warm Carrot and Shenandoah Valley Arugula Salad, Crispy Carolina Rice and Mushroom Fritters, Cacio e Pepe Agnolotti filled with Caramelized Onion and Ricotta Cheese, Little Neck Clams accompanied by Bloody Butcher Corn, Thyme and Lemon Roasted Pennsylvania Chicken, and Salted Chocolate and Caramel Torte.
