As of December 2022, we shared news of Dunkin’s extensive nationwide expansion, including its forthcoming establishment at the Traville Village Center in Rockville, MoCo. With permanent signage now in place, the location is steadily progressing toward its grand opening.
Occupying 1,500 square feet in the rear portion of the former Capital One Bank building at 9761 Traville Gateway Drive, Dunkin’ is poised to enhance the center’s offerings. Construction efforts commenced nearly a year ago, experiencing a temporary pause before resuming in recent months. Notably, this site will feature a drive-thru, currently undergoing final preparations. Additionally, the 1,700-square-foot space at the building’s front remains available for lease, offering further commercial opportunities.
Under the ownership of Inspire Brands since late 2020, Dunkin’ has strategically pursued expansion into former bank locales, facilitating seamless installation of drive-thru infrastructure. Beyond conventional locations, Dunkin’ has ventured into non-traditional developments, including airports and college campuses such as the University of Maryland. This approach underscores the brand’s commitment to accessibility and diversified growth strategies.
