Kara Hibachi Closes Its Doors, Soon Reopening as a New Restaurant

Kara Hibachi & Sushi, which initially opened its doors in 2020 at the Potomac Valley Shopping Center across from Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, has closed its operations. According to a representative from the restaurant, a new dining establishment is set to take its place in the coming weeks.

Osaka Ramen & Sushi is poised to occupy the location, presumably offering a menu that includes both ramen and sushi. The Kara Hibachi menu, which featured a diverse selection of hibachi and sushi options, was accessible through various delivery apps.

Currently, signage has been placed in the restaurant’s window, announcing the imminent arrival of Osaka. The interior is undergoing remodeling, and while an exact opening date is not available, it is anticipated to be within the next couple of weeks. The transition to Osaka Ramen & Sushi brings a fresh culinary offering to the area, signaling an exciting change for local diners.
